I think living alone sounds nice sometimes (I haven't lived alone in ages), but in all fairness to TAVS and Ellyn's point of view, when all of your friends start getting married (or even seriously dating one person), they aren't available to hang out with you on Saturday nights anymore. Also, having your buddies around is no replacement for the type of intimacy one gets from a (healthy) love relationship.
