A Brand New Feeling

Okay, not sure where this would go so I decided to stick it here.
As many of you know, and are very familiar with what happened with me roughly two months ago.
First off I would like to announce that I finally am over her and I'm so happy about that.

The strange thing is that before I ever met her, I was sad and lonely and miserable. I met her, fell in love, was wonderful all that. We broke up the first time and then I went back to being sad and all that but never truly got over here, probably because we stayed friends. We got back together, had a wonderful relationship for the most part but then she broke my heart again. Now, that was the WORST feeling I've ever experienced in my life. The past two months have been ups and downs, missing her, getting upset over her and all that. Well a few days ago I read something and I finally realized why she was in my life and that her leaving was not a bad thing but yet a good thing.
Now I have this incredible feeling, it's a good feeling, something I've never felt before. I can't explain it. I'm single, I hate being single, and yet I feel great, I feel wonderful. I'm not exactly sure why I feel that way though, I still can't quite figure it out completely. I know part of it is I know I won't always be alone, that there's someone out there for me, and when it doesn't work out, I can always find someone else, and I'll finally find someone I'm supposed to be with. However that's just part of it, I can't figure out the rest.

I guess I'm asking if anyone might know why. Then again, I'm also just expressing myself and finally putting something on the boards where I DON'T need everyone to tell me what I should and shouldn't do. It feels good, it really does.

Hey, ain't nothing wrong with pure happiness like that of freedom. I'm sure this confidence in yourself will help you a lot in future relationships too. If you feel, KNOW you can get someone, it seems like it would be a hell of a lot easier to do just that.
