| Old Poem So this is a poem I wrote back in 2000' about my girlfriend at the time. She found it the otherday in the abis of the Internet and emailed me to see if I had in fact wrote it as well as 3 others she came across. Anyway, I thought I'd post this one. I don't know what I was thinking back then; she was so wrong for me. Anyway, enjoy.
Perfect Love
What I've found with her
Is unlike all that has come before
And with it comes a new definition of love
More sincere than I've ever known
There have been times past
Leading me to believe I knew love
Yet they never touched my soul quite the same
Never inspired such deep emotion
With her in my loving arms
I'm taken away to a special place
Where the world is right and I'm complete
From all of life's troubles, I can hide
Through good times and bad
Our love withstands life's obstacles
Working together, our love grows stronger
For we were meant to be one, forever
Never again will I wake alone
Wondering what I'm waking for
Because by my side, the answer, it's there
For I live each day for her
