Well, for those that have followed my poems since the love poem forum was started, you know I've had some mixed poems. At first they were deep in the love, and then lately deep in darkness. I also said I would begin to write the more light hearted poems again. So to keep my promise, here is the first one in I'm sure a long while...enjoy.

Guardian Angel:

I'll be your knight in shining armor
Upon a big white steed
I'll make your heart, dear, grow warmer
And protect you when in need

I'll guard your door every night
And keep you from harm's way
I'll stay there 'til the mornin' light
Until the break of day

And when you rise to greet the day
I'll be there to watch 'oer you
Fiery dragons will I slay
To show my love is true

So, take this love with all it's pride
And keep it for all times
Into the sunset we will ride
And, forever, I'll be yours and you'll be mine.

I'm also currently getting back into song writing, the one I'm working on now is a very "Linkin Park" type of style, and the sound that is associated with them. The song is called "Disillution".

I'll keep you posted in the near future.

see I knew you had some good in there inside the Dark Angel!

I just wrote that with the intention of believing there was somebody out there I loved. Hopefully and soon, I won't have to pretend anymore...just like I used too.
