this a poem I wrote I think in 11th grade for English class lol
It happens to still be on my laptop.

Let me sleep by you my love
Dream up peace and stillness above
Drive harms and tribulations away
With laughs and sweet mischievous play

Let me sleep by you my queen
Observe the truth and fact unseen
Lies and deceit we both will drop
With trust and true conviction crop

Let me sleep by you my other
Dance and dance like there’s no fonder
Into the sea we’ll prance and skip
With zeal and craze enjoy our trip

Let me sleep by you my muse
Climb high and high, with no excuse
Let’s test our limits and confines
With drive we’ll thrive and shine

Let me sleep by you my dear
You and I have nothing to fear
For if me, you not take and resist
A love a friend you would have missed
