Today I realized how wrong I've been,
It's time for me to take my life back again.
I have given it away twice over now,
And each time ran over with a plow.
I have felt love, and it's very nice,
And felt the pain as cold as ice.
I have built a wall, tall and wide,
A secret place for me to run and hide.
Twice over now I have let someone in,
And each time I get hurt again.
I hate to be behind this wall,
It has always made me weak and small.
Now it's time to break it down,
So I can see everyone all over town.
Next month I'll be twenty years old,
It's about time I stand strong and bold.
I fear nothing now, not even Death,
And I thank God for every breath.
I have slept all my life, but now awake,
And now know who I am, my name is Blake.

Ok this poem reflects how I felt. Hmmm. So the good news is that you recognize it and then the next step is to actually do it!

Which is what I did!!! yea for me!!

Just goes to show people do go through the same bs...

Things are getting better for me now.

I have a great job (and my own office XD), my son has everything he needs now, he is cauht up with all his shots, etc...

So things are definately better than sitting in the dark with no power at my old apartment waiting for my dtripper wife to get home (which she hardly ever did) and wondering if she is bringing home food or at least money for food...

I am only missing 3 things from my life now and 2 of them will come soon... A car and my own place with my son... The third will come in time hopefully... someone to share my life with...

There ya go! Setting your priorities is great! You know whats important.

Being a single mom for um my sons entire 15 years of life...I know all too well about doing it on your own. So I give you a ton of credit for doing it!

Oh, to clarifu the last line with my name... My full name is William Blake Galbreath, and in high school I was known as Billy... That names has just stuck with me on the internet, but I am now known as Blake in real life... So now you all now why it says that on the last line... And yes I do realize there is a famous poet names William Blake... but trust me i am not that good. lol
