cant always promise to make you happy

sometimes things just dont feel right

cant promise the moon or the stars

only that I will be here to see you through the night

wont promise you forever with its poetic never end

only that I will be here for every today that you will let me in

wont swear to love undying in its childish form

but swear to a love with roots deep enough to weather through any storm

I cant say i beleive in majic and fairy tales no more

but I believe in a love that I have never felt before

for each day I will try to do the right thing

for each night I will thank god for your loving

all I can do is try to make this right

to be true and steady for a love worth my life

its another try

its another time

its another love

like the one we left behind
