Towering miles above
Staring at the Earth
Among stars in the sky

At close distance
From eyes a few feet
The glacier and rocks
Show its flaws and cracked makeup

But miles away
Serene sights and sound
Are its curved body
In mist bathed around

Imperfection creates
What the eyes can't see
Perfection is the result
Of imperfections beauty

In life as in nature
We face the Earth
We're the edge of the cliff
With stars in our eyes
