When It's Over

I’ll be sitting here alone,
Thinking about past times,
Dreaming of the laughs ,
Thinking of the good times.
Remembering all the laughter,
Remembering all the tears,
Those were the best times.

When it’s over,
I’ll still be here.
When It’s over,
I’ll try not to cry.

Act One and I go on.
Take my role as someone else,
Pretend you’re my enemy.
But when the lights go down,
When the roles are tossed,
I buy you a drink, and we
Talk until the break of dawn.

When it’s over,
I’ll still be here.
When it’s over,
I’ll dream I could Fly.

Act two and my roles done.
I stand in back and watch you act.
I joke with those beside me,
Bout how you fit the role.
We dream away the time,
Sliding down the line,
Waiting for the next act.

When it’s over,
I’ll still be here.
When it’s over,

Don’t know what to say.
Act three comes up I’m back on.
Make my appearance then I’m gone.
Your freaking out inside your head,
Nothing to worry about:
I’m right here at your side,
You know all of your lines.
The worst is over, or is it yet to come?

When its over,
I’ll still be here.
When its over,
I’ll miss you everyday.

Act four and we both have parts.
Its time to commit ourselves,
I take a drag and we both walk out.
We fill the stage on our own.
We rock the world you know.
Its our time now,
And the best is yet to come.

When its over,
I’ll still be here.
When its over,
I’ll be all alone.

Act five and now we end this show.
We run on full strength.
I don’t know where I’ll go.
Maybe to your place?
We hang out till the dawn.
Till the break of day.
I love seeing your face.

When its over,
Ill still be here.
When its over,
Nowhere to call home.

But we leave each other,
Right after the show.
I know I’m gonna miss you,
Without words you know.
I never wanna lose you,
But we have to part,
Because it’s now my part.

When its over,
I’ll still be here.

When its over,
Our show is through.

All the trouble you’ve seen today

I wish that you were near

Protecting me tonight
A thousand miles or one
Seems forever when it’s done

ArmyPunk. It's just like you commentin' on my poem sayin' "It's gay". Everyone has their own opinions so don't get mad at people for postin' up their thoughts. I wasn't mad at you so why be mad at him? And reportin' posts just because you don't like it, it's immature. Learn to take in other poeple's thoughts and live with it.

And how am I suppose to believe that? It sounded like you really thought it was gay. Maybe it was. I don't know. But it doesn't matter. Everyone has their own opinions. Someone agrees with you anyway. They thought it was crap too and thought it was a bunch of words because they didn't understand what my poem was on about.
