I wrote this poem for and about my girlfriend, Angel.
Angel
The greenest forest
The bluest water
The clearest day
The brightest star
None of which compares to the essence
The glow, the shroud of beauty
Bestowed upon me this day
Her eyes, you could gaze into forever
Her lips, soft as the shrouding clouds
Her smile, more beautiful than beauty itself
Her touch, to die for.
Blessed to me
I convey to her my love
My trust, my loyalty
My heart.
From the skies above
She soars with wings of light
Her body glistening in the everlasting sun
To stop time so that I could be with her forever
For our love to last til' the end of time
That would make me eternally greatful
From holding her in my arms
To that oh so sweet kiss
These things I will cherish forever
And never forget.
