Both of the poems I am about to post were for my girlfriend Alyssa; The first was before we started dating, the second is during it.

When Dreams End
Time does pass while dreams are made,
As just one leaves the dreams do fade.
In mind, In soul, In heart is glad,
One day, One soul, One heart is mad.
Two hearts; not one, the dreams are through.
One heart, One soul, One night is new.
Two friends, Two hearts, Two feelings are there,
Two minds, Two souls , Compliance is rare.
One word, Two words, It’s all they make,
One man, One soul, One heart does ache.
One pin, One act, Two friends again,
Just friends, Not more, To his chagrin.
One look, One touch, One heart does mend,
Four holes, three holes, three rings do lend.
Three guys, Three girls, Six friends they are,
Three guys, Two girls, One will be far.
One bed, One girl, One dream does part,
One Heart, One Mind, One Love aint smart
One guy, One heart, One love can’t be,
One girl, One heart, No love for he.
Two friends, Two states, Two hearts are they,
But in his heart she’ll always stay.

She's Really...Awesome
Alyssa…is so awesome,
Her smile, her laugh, her spirit.
