This something I wrote forever ago, not poetry persay...but what the heck lol.

Through the good times,

through the bad times,

we knew and loved eachother

Now things have changed

And time has moved on

I wish I knew what went wrong

I wish I knew what and if you hated about me

I wish I knew what to do

I can see in your eyes

That your lost and jaded

Haven't figured out why you can't sleep

and why you have trouble dreaming

You haven't been happy since before our breakup

and now you can't decide what to do either

Don't try to hide and fight,

you think about it almost every night.."Who am I".

I wish I could keep you safe again

I wish I could mend moments again

I wish I knew how to heal you

through your trouble

you've nearly lost those closest to you

I know you feel alone sometimes

hidden away because your too independant.. like me

You remember when we knew how to smile

embrace life as though we were a child

You remember when we knew how to dream

free as a bird, as far as the light can see.

I wish I could of understood better

I wish I could of did something different

I wish I could of made you believe, that you really
are beautiful

Dosen't each and every day feel empty sometimes,

almost as you reach out in desperation for something
to hold

Do you still move your feet to better help yourself
fall asleep

Do you wonder why sometimes you can't help and sigh

Do you wonder why somebody like myself can love
someone so much

Do you wonder why somebody can love you one moment,
then leave you the next?

Do you ask yourself when does the pain end

Do you ever ask "what if?" or wish that things could
of been different

Do you feel as through you keep running and end up
nowhere

Do you wish the stars would shine on you again.

Do you miss the warmth of being loved without all the
bullshit

Do you miss being so happy that it makes you cry

Do you still believe I know you well enough, to
understand your pain,

even when you try to hide it? Each and every day

Ya know Innova, you simply amaze me at your abilty to write and I enjoy all of your poems. I saw this posted a few days ago, and knowing your situation I couldnt bring myself to read it. For a fear of feeling the same way, and knowing I would break down and cry. Sure shooting shit! Every time I read your poems, I get inspired to write, but this time, Im too lost in my own pain to put things together in a coherent manner. Hell remember the eminmen poem? lol...yea Id be right there again, shoot I wish I still had that one~ Id post that and leave it this time!

Anyway~its always great to read your thoughts!

Amy, i think you should start writing..it might help, its at least worth a try...Like i told you the other day...writing and making music is probly the only reason im still here right now, im sure it could do you some good to write it down!! remember we takled about you not having anything creative to vent through, well there you go.
