I've never wrote poetry unless i had to in school... but depression makes you do some strange things... so here goes.
I know these times are hard for you,
A message so short has never been so true.
Sadness has a place in both our hearts,
Keeping us close, yet so far apart.
I look deep inside and remember the times
Those beautiful nights you spent in my arms.
But now I feel lost, confused, and alone
I feel your love so strongly,
Yet, may it be only an echo of a love once shown
Now I look inside my heart, to find only despair
I spend long nights alone, crying in bed.
Longing to run my fingers through your beautiful hair.
I remember the night when we shared our last kiss,
But it’s the spiritual connection forever I’ll miss
Your love, your strength
Your eyes and their shine
Sadly I know, you will never again be mine.
