Negative Spiral

The world is dying
Love is at her final curtain call
We have thousands to tell us this

Who gives a damn
One more shot and keep me up
One more time to leave it all behind

Needle marks leave a trail on my arm
Black and blue from one to many
Yet in my world the world is beautiful

No one else is here with me
The world sparkles in the morning dawn
As dragons fly overhead, their wings leaving a mile long trail

Is it so bad that in my world happiness is the key
Everyday when I return to yours
All I see is misery

Why should I stay upon your world
When mine lies right beneath
Everyone has to stay in purgatory to get to heaven

I take my hits just so I can feel good
Ill take my life to the next level just for her
That golden needle that takes me away from everything

Darkness, I feel cold
She didn’t deliver
Or maybe she did

Her final gift that horrible pain
