That was really sad. None of the boys she was last seen with would talk.

| | | see, doesn't it make you wonder after seeing a movie like this?? basically the american victims would cost the most because i'm guessing they really hate us. shrugs... and the sick thing of this movie is how many people were actually involved in the kidnappings.
speaking of which, do you remember the urban legend of waking up in the tub with your kindey missing?? kinda the same thing, however this movie is about 50 times worse.

Especially knowing this particular movie was based on true events.....that makes me want to watch it even less. It sickens me to think there are such evil people in the world.

Oh yeah for sure.. that's a reason I always have so much sympathy for POW's... I was watching some special on the History channel about some of the methods the Japanese use to use to torture American POW's back in WWII.. sick stuff.

| | | speaking of torqure, remember the movie "black hawk down"?? that movie was also based upon true events. when the samolians killed am american, they would drag their body up and down streets.
blue, i will sh*t you not, this movie did make me cringe at times. however, whether you want to see it or not, it is reality. because you close your eyes doesn't mean that this will stop. i think that is the part that really intriges me the most... knowing the truth.
alice, "meaning of life"?? was that the educational video when a child is born and they actually show the mother giving birth to her child??

| | | i saw it less than 6 hours ago i havent heard of it until i got to the teathre , i guess im not that much in touch with movies anymore and im a big movie buff .
i saw it , i wasnt really surprised . i knew since the beginnig who was the "bad guy" and what was going to happen ... its very expected from american movies .
no i did not cringe and i was not really affected by the gore , and i knew these type of things were done in the world WAYY before the movie .
call me cold hearted or a disturbed individual , i have imagined things way more sickening than that .
movie wise , it was really short , the story and especially the ending sucked , not worth full price entry , either wait for it on dvd or go on the cheaper days .
i think it was barely 70-80 mins , gory but nothing thats truly eye popping ... at least for me , after all , i wasnt nearly impressed with saw, saw 2 as ppl say , and this one was no better . i laughed out loud during the movie , more than once btw . same with the last 10 "scary" movies iv seen , seriously , no movie can scare me , almost , except that damn exorcist from the 70's ... now THAT scares me .(probably because i 1st saw it when i was 6-7 y old)

| | | I saw it last night. Wish I would have read this thread first! The movie was aweful and I normally like horror flicks. The first half was borderline pornographic, which I wasn't too in to, and the second half was nothing more than torture and chopped up bodies. Yuck! I walked out of the theatre wishing I had gone to see "Hoodwinked" instead. It was also rediculously predictable. It was $7.50 and ~1 1/2 hours of my life that I will never get back! But at least I was in good company! | |

| | | i just remembered about all those half porno scenes , alot of top(meaning breasts) nudity in this movie . 30-40 mins is spent with stupid things in the beginning , me and alot of ppl in the theatre were wondering if we dint get into the wrong movie .
basically i see it as Eurotrip but with some gore halfway and a crappy ending . The went to the same places (im almost sure).
this movie is rated as 2 out of 5 stars ... because i like 1 thing in this movie and its that the ...
***Caution PLOT killer , dont read if you havent watched it***
the survivor kills alot of his captors and kills the bastards that got him in that place . Revenge and i liked it .

raverboy well, yes they do show a mother giving birth, two mothers, actually, and i think it's very educational. so very much so, in fact, i think they should show it to pupils. compulsory. but i don't think, we're talking about the same thing.
i had to think of it, when you mentioned the guy waking up with no kidneys, because one part of the film is about live organ transplants. it's a liver, though, they're taking out.
