| | | I am really impressed with these movies. have you guys read the books? Golum looks like I imagined him from the books. I am just glad they didn't ruin them. I have the Twin towers DVD.. I haven't seen the trailer? Should be good though.

| | | Read the hobbit, the fellowship of the ring, and about half of the two towers. I got lost and then lost the book so I couldn't continue. I'll get back to it though. First I have to finish Jurassic Park (for the fifth time), then Bram Stoker's Dracula, Homer's Iliad followed by the Odyssey of course, and THEn probably will get back around to the Hobbit and LOTR trilogy (unless Stephen King's IT that I picked up at a garage sale calls out too strongly . . . )

| | | BTW, in case you're interested in knowing, I am going to try to be there with a group of friends on opening night, and hopefully we'll all dress as characters. I'm somewhat of a crazy guy, and I'm DEFINITELY a shameless guy who can't be embarressed, and I can't WAIT to see people's reactions when they see us there. Maybe we'll call each other character's names too. How great would that be if you saw a group of people dressed like hobbits saying, "So Master Frodo, what do ya suppose we'll be doing in this movie?" "I don't know, Sam. I don't know." | |

| | | Also, in addition to above, the idea came because I saw the first movie on opening night, and there were people there dressed as hobbits and elves. And I laughed my ass off at them behind their backs! And then I realized, "Hey. I can bring a bit of laughter to someone else now."

| | | damn this movie just came out yesterday and i've seen it tonight. like all other movies it does have it strong and it's weaknesses. i don't really wanna spoil the movie for anyone so i won't say too much other than it has good story line and be prepared because it's about another 3 hours of sitting on your ass in the theaters. raverboy

| | | Just saw this movie tonight. Go see it and see if you even remember that fish's name. A 3.5 hour epic film. I'm not like ALL ABOUT Lord of the Rings and I saw this movie entirely ready to fall asleep, but this movie made me forget all that and I truly enjoyed every minute of it. A must see. I don't like following things that are super hyped up but this is a rare exception.

| | hahaha, i feel that the best part of this movie was the actual fight scene because it was pretty long and the build up to it wasn't bad. other than that, comming right before the movie starts and cutting in line in front of most of the people.

| | Well the the 21st has come and gone, and my date with my Angel went really well...the whole night was awesome. But beside that fact, Lord of the Rings was an awesome movie. The battle scenes were truly inspiring, and yes you could paint this movie for it is that beautiful. That 3.5 hours of movie was worth it. (LOL didn't get home till like 3 a.m. though )
