I'm going to see "Hairspray" live this weekend, but if we can't get tickets, I am afraid I will end up having to see X3...

Hairspray.. never herd of it.... sounds corny and not wanting to be seen. But yes, tommarow im going to take my big bro to see a movie for his b-day. And I have a feeling he will choose x3 becouse he likes lots of action and thats all x3 is supposed to be. I think it looks like a good movie. All and all I think it will be good becouse I enjoyed all other marvel movies. And yes some of you may know if you saw my history post that I normaly hate my bro but lately it seems like he has been reaching out so... ill give it a try... but if he messes up... ill stick a sharp object through that hand. Im such a nice brother arnt I .

Hairspray in a 1960's era musical - I am guessing something similar to Grease set in a different era. It was also made into a movie I think. I'm taking a bunch of performing arts High School kids.

They haven't released X3 in my town yet and I'm certainly pissed off. I heard rumours that it had Dominic Petros/Lance Alvers A.K.A Avalanche in it and I so wanted to see it.

I heard it's over-rated and doesn't do the previous two any justice.

It was pretty good, my boys liked it, not quite as good as the first and second one though.

I wasn't aware there was a different director for this installment. It doesn't matter, it isn't going to stop me seeing it when I can.

I just watched it... I thought it was great to be honest... and the only reason I think in why I throughly enjoyed it is because I went to see the movie with little to no expectations. The exact same thing I did when watching the matrix sequels (which explains why I throughly enjoyed them also).

overall i liked x3. i thought it was gonna be a little bit better, but oh well. nonetheless i still had fun. and just a little something for everyone, don't leave until after the credits are over. you'll see a little something something.

I. Loved. X3.

It totally had a better plot and storyline then X-Men 1 and X2; I liked how Storm's role was done more like the cartoon-Storm's role, as well as the other new X-Men that got added to the cast (I'm looking mainly at Shadowcat, Spike, Arclight, Psylocke, and Juggarnaut)

The Phoenix bits were a creative twist in the movie; though it wasn't really accurate based on the comics (ex.: how Jean became the Phoenix, and the whole Saga of it), it was nicely touched up in less than 2 hours only. Her relationship with Cyclops/Scott was very poorly done in X3, though it was nice to see them in love again near the beginning when Jean made her appearance . Oh, and her powers rocked at the end of the film....

Callisto vs. Storm! They had that sense of rivary in the movie, just like how it was in the cartoons and comics. I don't recall Callisto ever having "super-speed" in the comics or cartoons; it was more like stamina, but I guess the director wanted to twist that part too to have an even match between the 2.

As for Rogue, although alot of fans complained about her not having her super-strength and flight powers, I found it awesome how the director (as well as the director for X-Men Evolution) had Rogue stuck with just her own, natural powers, which was the ability to absorb memories/life-force/powers from other mutants/humans. They kept her "as she really was" with her own gifts, and alolowed her to shine on a few occassions just with them. I did miss her sassy, flirtaous nature from the comics though

haha, yea; as you can see, I SERIOUSLY loved the movie. I've been a Marvel geek for quite a while, and I'm glad that there are directors were willing to try to make films on my fav comics

I can't wait for Spiderman 3 and X4 to come out!
