| | | The Propostion. It's an Australian western with Guy Pearce and John Hurt. Ignoring the fact that the ending song was completely out of place, it was an amazing movie. The acting is great all around and by the end you are very emotionally invested in these people even though at time they do horrible things. It is very brutal, so definitely not one for the squeemish, but otherwise it's good. And the violence isn't gratuitous, it serves a purpose and conveys a message.
