Morality is a human manifestation.
The by-product of maintaining such a large society.

| | | Aww, shut up. Don't make me smack you!
Fras - would you advocate NOT maintaining such a large population, and if so, how would you get rid of them? What criteria would you use to decide who stays?

| | | I'm not advocating one or the other, just sayin'.
But when it comes to criteria on who should stay or go, any thoughts on that would be just as "good" as any genocidal maniac's.

I was using Schindlers List as an example of a sad movie. I don't know about you, but I was bawling at the end
lilwing, I can think of plenty of morals but none that relate to the violence in the movie.

lilwing, I can think of plenty of morals but none that relate to the violence in the movie. 1 there were some parts in Shindler's List that were gruesome and gory. There were scenes in there where nazi soldiers busted a cap in the back of random jews heads. If you that's portraying human kindness, well I don't know what's that matter with you. Anyways, there are some scenes included with violence to portray certain themes, ideas, and morals.
2. I wasn't talking about morals related to violence. I think the whole movie could have done without the final bloodbath. How'd you like to be the graphic artist that digitally animated all that gory shit? | |

| | | oh, ok, yeah, I can see that, it was really touching.
edit: damnit you're quick.
many movies have violence in them. Schindlers list was not a horror movie, though. And you know that's not what I meant with human kindness.
what morals and themes, though? I didn't see it.

And what, pray tell, is so godawful about two men entering a ring to fight? They aren't being forced. They go in and they enjoy it. And what's so wrong if I happen to enjoy watching them?
