Candlebox, anybody?

I've always been a fan of Candlebox, and always kind of urked that they split up in 2000 because I never got the chance to see them live. Turns out last year in 06 they got back together for a reunion tour, which evidently lead to them reuniting for good and working on a new album for 08.

I've been searching like crazy to find a time they'll be playing near my area within a 1 hour drive, but so far I haven't been that lucky. Maybe sometime soon, though!

A lot of their music really feels like it was written for me. Their song "Sometimes" is downright phenomenal in every way shape and form. That song is what kept me going when I went through yet another disasterous relationship. They also have a few more good ones, such as It's Alright, Far Behind, Cover Me, You, Blossom, etc.

Anybody a fan?

Hmmm. I bought one of their CDs but found it to be too hard for me.

Yeah, they do have a rock side to them. Perhaps you'd like sometimes, it's mostly acoustic. It's Alright is fantastic as well, but in the middle of the song there's a part where they just randomly go crazy, then they blend back to the tone they were previously playing and finish the song. I love it.

Cover Me may be more up your alley too. *shrug*

Well, Candlebox is back with their original lineup. After watching an interview with Kevin Martin, the lead singer, it sounds like they all really missed it and are excited to be back jamming together.

I'm curious to see what kind of stuff their new album will have, but supposedly that's for an 08 release.
