Before you see the most-likley CRAPPY American remake of a wonderful Thai horror film, PLEASE consider watching the Thai version. It's such a good movie, and I wouldn't want you to think bad of Shutter by seeing the American version.
You know how Asian remakes are!
Just go to YouTube and type in Shutter part 1 you'll surely find something!
