ok Tooshort you had to have seen this one!

This movie kicks royal ass for me! The dancing is unbelievable!!!!!!

I want to buy this one and learn those damn moves!!

For once a movie that had more dancing than anything-hey Jane does this really exist in Cali? It must..."the crews" this was such an awesome movie to watch-if youre into this kind of dancing-this was great for me-I so want to dance like that!!!!!

blah, just another blatent exploitation of hiphop culture, i refuse to see it- just for that simple fact, i dont want to see r&b singers pretending to be bboys, its just not right haha

hey now! thats not right! I liked the movie because of the dance styles...it totally reminded me of the 80's wouldnt some of you might not remember!

Dont cut my taste in it damnit-I liked it!

Ouch Zekk. That's harsh. Have you seen the movie or is your opinion based on the trailer? If you've seen it, what didn't you like about it? Need a little more than just "it was comparable to a piece of shit" to get the idea of just WHY it was crap.

im sure the dancing is cool squirly, and i do remember the 80s, but what I was saying was, its not the main characters doing the complex stuff, and im sure the storyline is weak- i mean, beatstreet is one of my altime favorite movies, but it was rooted in real hiphop, and the breakdancing moves were innovative then, this is just another way to turn the culture marketable, so im sure it sucks- but if it came on hbo or something i might watch it untill i got disgusted

do you guys know what its about? A group of guys and some gals who make up these "crews" which have they have battles in a wharehouse-of course there is "some" plot but more dancing and it is the usual plots-but what made it awesome for me was that I love that kinda dancing! I was a cheerleader for years...so routines were always in mind. Breakdancing from the 80's was great. They had MTV and Little Kim in this movie too-but it all tied together in the end.

There was more dancing in this movie than I have seen in a long time-more than "Honey". Thats ALL it was for me-the dancing.

I've only seen the trailer but I know the culture. I typically don't judge too quick off of trailers cause I hate it when something surprises me and makes me feel like a goob. But I was told "if you are in love with hip hop then go see this movie." However I think hip hop is a very thin and boring musical style (with a few exceptions as most things have) and couldn't bear to sit through 90 minutes of it.

yea but Zekk its not full of the hip hop from MTV-its more of mixes nothing by any of the hip hop artists today-nothing-just great dance mixes and the "crews" battleing it out-

When I think battle its hard to think about out-dancing one another. I'm sorry but it's just really not my thing. Just my opinion.

see thats all you had to say! I said if youre into hip hop its for you-if youre not than no-but the dancing! If youre into dancing then YES its the movie for you. Ya know there was no nudity or harldy any swearing in this either. Its not what people initially think it is...which is what made it better. Not the usual dancing youd see from the MTV hip hop videos. The half nude girls shakn their ass-its nothing like that.

The one kinda dancing I can really just sit there and watch and be amazed at is breakdancing. Theres so much skill and practive involved in that. But the typical grinding and crap you see at clubs and parties that play hip hop is just stupid. It's so simplistic and boring just like the music thats playing. It's come to my attention that people in THAT kinda situation can't dance, they just advertise themselves. But like you say this movie doesn't have the kind of situations I'm referring to which makes it not as bad as what first comes to my mind when I think hip hop.
