my best friend just got engaged over the previous weekend. so today her and i went out to lunch, where she asked me to be her maid of honor by the way, and while we were talking about random things it sorta come up that her and her fiance' Adam don't have "a song". anyone have any good ideas for a first dance song for the reception?!?

umm ... "If Ever" by 3rd Storee ... that was my friend's wedding song ... but it was the words that got him ...

I think "In My Life" by The Beatles is a great one even though it's my funeral song ...

ok so lets see a little about my friends..... well their names are Jamie and Adam. She's 22 and is a senior in college and he is 24 and graduated like a year and a half ago. They met at school in Indiana! So he's kinda turned her on to country music alot. So they really share that. it's not the only music they like though. they have been together about 3 years. Since she was a freshman. they broke up for a while when he graduated, because he was looking for marriage and she just wasnt ready for that yet. She wanted to finish school before jumping into that. So they spent a few months apart b4 getting back together. She graduates school in 7 months(may), and they are looking to get married in the fall next year. so about a year from now.

they are looking for a sort of simple song. more about the lyrics than anything else. and they don't want like whatever pop love song is hot at the moment. oh and no boy bands, that was adam's only real request..... so its safe to say that 98* "I do" is out! they are both really funny people, and a great looking couple if i do say so myself. well let me know if you need any more info!
