| | | Oldboy I think it is the best movie after "AI".
Seen it? What do you think of it?
That action scene where the main character had the knife in his back and fighting with the mass was a little bit overacted and absurd but the storyline and soundtrack make all things good.
I think I will watch this movie again with my future girlfriend
I kind of like those mystic a-bit-horrorish movies like Das Experiment and such stuff. It is not straight horror but more like mental horror, at least for me.

| | | Its korean, but there are subtitles for it. Just google, and use IMDB (but it wont give enough information)
Maybe it isn't in the movies yet, but you can always try downloading it from the Internet.

| | | Well, Oldboy is different. A man one day dissapears and is locked up in one single room with TV 15 years straight. He is only in that room and every day food is inserted to him through the hole. He hasn't seen outside of that room for 15 years.
he makes stiches on his hand, each for a year. And right when he is making his way out of that room, by making a hole into the wall, he is set free without knowing why he was there and who put him in there.
The training part was abit absurd, but the ending storyline is just too good. I am not telling this part, but I can tell you that it probably makes you think.
Btw, people from USA are going to make a remake of that film by 2006.
Why usapeople cannot figure anything out by themselves? Because of stupid byrocracy everywhere?

| | | yes, there will always be remakes of an older version, it's how the world revolves.
however, i have heard of a story something along the lines of this. thus goes, there were two people sitting in a bar, one was a scientic the other was an owner of the town bank. they were talking one day and they wondered if soemone could sustain a positive outlook and life and what not if they were to go without human contact for a period of time. i believe this bet lasted 5 years. through the story, it goes to explain the hardships that the scientist faced, and if you really wanna know the ending i'll tell it to you.

What movie is it? "My sassy girl"?
"Oldboy" has scored 9/10 in many places btw. And "Oldboy" isn't actually old stuff, it is a new movie. It should still be in the movies where I live.
Its more like that usapeople always think that asian films are crap and they just don't watch it. No wonder you haven't seen it, it isnt even shown maybe. Just because Hollywood wants to come out with something "new" to usapeople.
But blood, violence and own sister banging makes the movie perfect!
