| | | I was thinking of either just wearing my chefs outfit or thinking about something more creative. Who knows, I like wearing simple costumes myself.

| | | Nah - I wouldn't wear anything that short in public; I am too shy. Mine went down to the knee, and it was blue/white. | |

I've been pondering whether or not I want to give up drinking for good. It's not habitual or anything, I rarely do it as it is. However, I don't like who I become when I do it. I think with the wrong head and that's not really who I am, do you think I'd be missing out on much should I decide to give it up forever? Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Thank you, that is all.
OK so this is the costume I'm wearing tonight for the party!

| | | I'm scared though to wear it. I think I'm going to have my leather trench coat over it most of the night... LOL

About the Halloween costume - an almost naked chef would get you lots of attention, so good luck with that, and don't forget to post a picture!
About the drinking - I think you are at an age where people decide to start slowing it down. Will you miss out on much? I don't know - here in California, honest to goodness adult people tend to drink much less alcohol than they do in New England, for example. It is more ingrained into their culture. If you say you only do it rarely, I am inclined to believe you, and so I wonder why you don't just cut down the amount you consume when you DO partake? I alternate alcoholic beverages with a big glass of water, which keeps me from losing control while allowing me to have an occassional drink. It's more about balance. On the other hand, if you really DO drink a lot of alcohol, it is unhealthy and therfore wise to give it up. | |

| | | One of the best I've seen was a girl customed as a martini glass. Silver sequined shoes, long gloves and tight-fitting, ankle length dress; huge, clear plastic cowl surrounding her head. Her green hat with red bon-bon, skewered with a long, wooden-dowel 'toothpick', was the olive. Another clever one was a girl wearing only a slip with the word "Freud" largely emblazoned in red sequins across the bodice.
