don't remind me of that! i've lost about one third of my hair a couple of years ago (and i'm still waiting for it to grow back), and i've actually been putting moisturizing cream on my face these last two winters, cause my skin can't take the cold no more.

I don't think it was intentional, but it made me uncomfortable. I didn't dump him over it, but I HATED when he started conversations about topics that I didn't know about (politics for example)! Of course I probably could have turned the tables and started talking about chemistry... haha! I'm a science geek, but don't know crap about a lot of other topics...

I think that sometime the "super intelligent" often have trouble turning their brains OFF, sometimes ya know? Maybe your fellow never learned how to do this. It can get really irritating when someone is always mentally ON like that. Sometimes, ya just gotta cut loose and be stooopid...

I've been using moisturizing cream for years because Los Angeles is so hot and dry, but I am still seeing evidence of future wrinkles.
What happened to you hair? I thought it looked gorgeous in the picture you posted...

| | | i don't know, it just fell off about two or three years ago. i know, there's still lots of it left, but nothing like it used to be. i thought it was my punishment for making fun of a balding friend of mine … my doctor thinks it's because i don't get enough calcium out of the food i eat due to my lactose intolerance. the fact that i was messing around with my hormones quite a bit right at the time might also be a reason. i'll just have to get used to it, though, i don't think there's a chance it might grow back after so long a time. the worst thing about it is, i still notice the weight difference every time i pull it out from under a sweater or jacket. but thanks for the compliment! | |
