How do you deal with doctor notes?

Ok so i got this little problem ... im only able to miss 20 % of my total number of classes per month , and i was at the border(meaning 20%) before today ... but because of this weekend when my brother stayed over since thursday and things got a little crazy ... i went to sleep at 4 am last night (i have a sleeping problem and on top i hate to sleep)... so my scholl says it wont accept doctors notes if its something less than 4-5 days of abscence ...

i have this paper from my hospital ... it was supposed to be an appointment (sort of) for x-rays for my hand but i never went , so i was thinking that maybe i could put in a date (wich i can .... the space is blank) and tell them a story ...btw i have an exam tomorrow morning that i can take back only once ... but with doctor notes i got 2 chances .

if i dont show this im expelled from the school and ill have wasted a 6 months .

so i want to know ASAP please ...

if

-Do schools check with hospitals if you missed classes ... not HS or college just adult school ?
-What should i tell them ... i dont have to give a story just the paper but what should i say about it ?
-What do you think ? will it work ?

Im thinking of staying home till thursday ... because to them 1-2 days doctors note doesnt cut it as "abscence material" ... so if i miss one day theyll think i checked with my doctor for a simple cough or something . The paper says x-rays for right hand (my writting hand) ... so ill say i had broken it before (true) and i have the scars to prove it ... something heavy fell on it and i couldnt write so they gave me an x-ray .... i had to wait a couple of days because of line up (canada hospitals ... priority always) and they gave me something to put back the swelling but it made me drowsy so i coulnt go to school . What im mostly worried about is that if theyll call and check if i really went to take x-rays and shit .

i wasnt planning on missing today but seriously ... damn im pissed at myself .

Sounds like me, I've become increasingly lazy over these past months and I have what my teachers call "wasted potential" and always finding an excuse to "catch up on work". I'm only speculating here, but I doubt HS check doctor notes with hospitals, I think they just need some sort of evidence that the absence was valid.

do you think an appointment paper made by a doctor counts as a note somehow?

its a paper saying what i have and when to make an appointment for x-rays , what kind of story can i tell them ?

Of course it does. Hell I'm using one today about surgery I had last week to move my Italian oral to later on in the day.

alright well with what some of my friends say and also your input , im not that worried anymore ...now i just have to show up on thursday , is it better if i put a date on the paper or if i leave it blank ?

It would be more safe to have it dated.
