I'm going to root for Iran or Saudi Arabia because the penalty for losing may be absurdly high for them.

BTW - did you hear that in Iraq, a couple of athletes were executed for wearing shorts? (I can't remember if they were tennis players or soccer players.)

I've saw a documentry film about one of Sadams sons... he would torture the Iraqi Soccer players for playing bad. I want England to win it... but I'm also rooting for Ivory Coast (because the country is in War... and if they do well, then it will be a GREAT moral boost for those people)... I also want USA to do well, because the World continues to mock US Soccer.

Basically, it would be a dream to witness England win the World Cup (in my lifetime)... but at the same time... it's always refreshing to see a fairy tale team, who defy the odds, and get far in the competition...

... we will have to wait and see what happens... I can't wait!
