things to put in a diary gift?

i bought a fancy diary thing and im going to fill it with things over the years that i have wrote, things i have drawn. musical theories, creatures i imagine about, cartoons, reasons i love her, poems, dreams. shit like that.

except it only takes up about half the diary when i planned it out. i started thinking of other things to put in there, like lyrics of my favorite songs and stuff. but i can't think of much. i dont have many photographs or anything to share (from coming out of a broken home). can ya give me some ideas to jumpstart my brain? i dont have much time left to think about it.

also i thought about having space at the end that she can write in too, if i dont think of enough stuff.

Is this a gift for your girl? Why don't you include some memories? Things that helped to make you who you are today - childhood memories, memories of things you did together, etc. Don't make them obvious or easy things, though.

its hard to pick out other memories besides the first kiss. i mean, i didn't make our first date as memorable and romantic as i wanted it to be. it was just a movie, and then a long nightly walk in the park. and when i asked her to be my gf it wasnt like i covered her room with rosepetals or anything... urgh, 2 years just isnt enough but im sure i will think of a few more

It doesn't have to be limited to romantic memories. It can be ordinary moments that left an impression or that you simply appreciate. Everyone wants to feel appreciated.

Just messing Lilwing, I like your idea. I think it takes a lot to put your thoughts and feelings into something. Can you draw? One of the things I still treasure is a book of sketches an old boyfriend gave me.

Poor lilwing. He will never be able to live that post down, will he? Anyway, lots of men keep diaries, only they call them "journals", and I think his girlfriend will love it.
