it was not an assigned book; each semester, we are required to read a certain number of books, through a program called accelerated reader, which bases books by points. we were supposed to reach a goal of 35 points this semester.
what happened was, i read the book
alas babylon, which is 12 points. i had 23 points left. i couldnt find a book worth that exact amount. i picked out an interesting book that is 44 points. harry potter and the order of the phoenix.
laugh if you want, i know. i am a slow reader, i have problems reading, because i often daydream and wander off task. especially when it is something that doesn't spark my interest. i comprehend what i read, it's just that i have a hard time concentrating.
i procrastinated becaues during the time in which we are supposed to read, i am stuck at a table with ignorant ****s, who sit there and talk the whole god damn time. i don't have any other time that i can read in a day. i am busy from 6:30 in the morning, when i have singing lessons, to 1 o clock in the morning when i get done with my daily homework.
