Okay, I recently made a statement about how pursuing a relationship without sexual chemistry is a waste of time and now I'm thinking about exactly what that's all about.

Here's the thing: I used to have this MASSIVE crush on a guy for years. It felt like I was in love with him, the very sight of him or sound of his voice made me weak in the knees and I flirted with him every chance I got. I wanted desperately to kiss this guy, thought about him constantly, but never even thought about sleeping with him. I don't mean that I never seriously considered it as an option, I mean I never thought about it at all. Didn't even occur to me.

My question: Does this often happen to other women, and does it ever happen to men at all?

I actually used to have that feeling alot before that i longed after sex but my interests have changed alot.. I'm more interested in building up a beautiful relationship forgetting all about sex and barely even thinking about that subject as long as i love the person whom i want to be with

Yes its happened to me. Its been kinda a current thing. Just love to be around them and they make you all crazy flirty, but you don't necessarily want to sleep with them. Sighs....

sorry giga, it would never work between us. after you moved away from hawaii, i had to move on and i've actually found better. innova had taught me again to dip into the younger age group where they actually dunno the meaning of a heartbreak, what a score i tell you.

alright as to answer your question, i think that sexual chemistry is a big part of any relationship, BUT it depends on the couple. of course if two people hate the thought of having sex, this it won't be doomed, but if you or your partner isn't a good lover and that shit matters to you, shit will only hit the fan.

from my part, if i'm thinking of kissing a girl, i already know that i'm gonna want more. it's like the fat kid that you give only a bite of the chocolate cake too, he ends up wanting the entire thing. it's desire.
