The Well: Mathias

A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become part of.

He is shown a well, and his guide says "On any day except Wednesday, you can shout any question down that well and you'll be told the answer."

The man seems pretty impressed, and so he shouts down: "Why not on Wednesday?" and the voice from in the well shouts back: "Because on Wednesday, it’s your day in the well ."



This idea is stolen off another message board. We seem to be a little community, but we don't get to spend enough time getting to know each other, what the other people's everyday problems are, and how we can relate those to whatever relationship problems are going on.

So, this is called "The Well". Shout down any question you want, and I'll do my best to answer it. It can be emotional ("Mathias, why do guys cheat?" or "Mathias, why are some guys so insecure"?) personal (Where are you from, what are your favorite television shows, what is your favorite part about love?), or, it can be contemplative ("What is the best part about a woman? Why do we keep searching for love?")

I put it here because I expect most of the questions to be of the love variety at first...and, because it is the "Ask a MALE forum".


So, shout down your questions. If you want to do The Well next week, just start the topic at some point next week, and we'll fire questions at you.

When I was thirteen years old, my parents (now recently divorced) got into a huge fight, and my mom moved out for three days. I started high school in a hotel room.

It's the only time in my life that I really cried for an extended period of time. I had no idea what to do, how to fix things, or what to even think.
