have you lied to get out of work?

have you ever lied to get out of a job you didn't want to do? please share your stories.

I decided to take dancing lessons a while back so I could bump and grind against hot older women. I told my boss I needed every Thursday afternoon off because I was taking a class. It wasn't an outright lie, but I'm sure he thought I meant college classes.

I never lied to miss work (completely honest).

This had a lot to do with the fact that I liked clocking hours back then, and if I missed a day of work, I wouldn't get paid for that day.

Same thing here. When I had to call in for work because maybe I just wanted to stay home and sleep. I would call and said that I forgot to mention an important exam for school. Worked all the tiime.

I wanted to hit up six flags one time with some friends..but i knew it would cut into my shift. I called into work saying i HAD to visit my dad because he was recovering from back surgery in the hospital

i felt really bad after.

I had things to sort out and wasn't bothered to come up with an excuse so I quit my job then and there. The placement was a craphole anyways.

I've done it a ton of times. Feigned illness, mostly. I'm a fabulous actress. I can make myself go completely white at will. It freaks my co-workers out - they practically beg me to leave because they fear catching what I've 'got'. Lol.

I used the exam excuse a lot when I was in school.

Wow...It's becoming apparent that I've not yet had a job I like very much.
