What's the story behind the Friendly Forums?

Who started them? Was there some kind of schism?

I googled them and found some boards with people like Gigabitch and Converse there but no one's posted there for months.

Can somebody fill me in?

1. this thread will probably be edited by a moderator because you're advertising another 'love' type forum.

2. one of our ex members created their own forum a long time ago for regular members here to share. i joined it once and i think it sucks. the layout blows. if they had made a better layout, i would have visited more often.

And nobody has posted on that forum for months because it got totally jacked a while back. It was resurrected later in a new place, but I am not at liberty to disclose the whereabouts of it.

If I did, Kiechi would put a pube in my margarita.

hrmmm...i have never tried that place out to be honest. damn i can barely even keep up with this forum let alone visit another one.
