| | | Frasbee/Videogamers hello dude i just bought a 360 about a month ago and i can remember you having one,i picked the halo edition and it has been locking up on me ever since. i plan on exchanging it to an Elite at bestbuy but im a little worried on how i can keep my downloaded games and movies or how i can transfer it to my upcoming Elite. i hope you could shed some light on this situation.thank you

The Elite comes with a 120 gig hard drive, which means you'll probably never need to upgrade again.
On the downside, the system doesn't come with a transfer cable. If you got the 120 gig hard drive separately, it does come with a transfer cable.
I think Microsoft at one time was offering the transfer cable for free, but you'll have to do some research on that.
Even if you have to buy on separately, it'll be well worth the money especially if you don't want to lose all your data.
Google it.

Truthfully, I don't know much about those newer editions.
I can tell you right now that they won't let you do the transfer there it's probably against policy. Even if one wanted to, this is the holiday season, they're too busy.
Read your warranty information first. All the fine print and such before you try to swap out your system.

I don't have a 360, but I know as far as downloaded stuff goes, you can network it and copy it over to another hardrive before you send back the console.
