yay! I am FINALLY done with this. I have the misplaced sense of pride you get right after finishing something, so, I thought i'd ride the wave and show you guys;



it's a stop-motion animation, made with projected cut-outs (stencils). It looks like it took about ten minutes, but it took like a week of staying up till 5 and getting up at 9 to cut out all the damn frames. I'm never. cutting. anything. out. again. ever.

the project was to take any movie scene and interpret it typographically with an animation. ^.^

Yeah- **** cutting stuff out. That's how I feel about building architectural scale models. Never again.

I wanted to do it in flash, or in some sort of 3d package, but my lecturers pretty much forced me to do it this way. Granted, they didn't want me to make it this long, but, it kinda had to be, to make any sense whatsoever. I already took out most of the dialogue in that scene.

Congrats! It is always nice to be done with a big project. I hate cutting stuff, too. I worked on the rose parade floats the year before last, cutting flowers off their stems, and I ended up with nerve damage that lasted about 6 months. No more for me!

thanks! yikes, that sounds tedious. Reminds me of when my mom got carpel tunnel from milking cows seems like such an unlikely cause, but yeah.. ouch.
