hahaha i used to walk past there on a weekly basis cuz i worked at tanaka of tokyo at king's village. i used to see a line of white people outside jolly rogers everyday lining up for the specials. i just assumed that this restaurant was nothing special, just like the a denny's that just so happened to be right across the street.

anyhow, what makes this place worse that all the other restaurants??

and i still think it's whiskey linguini

The fact that it WAS like a Denny's. I'd never worked in a place like that before. God, the uniforms were atrocious.

Oh, and I started bartending upstairs at the Crow's Nest as well, and those uniforms were worse. They were these little rompers that were so short you'd think I was a cocktail waitress at Pure Platinum. A guy actually offered me a hundred bucks for "some of my time" while I was using the payphone downstairs while wearing that thing. I wish I were kidding.
