I've been thinking about growing my hair out, down to my shoulders. I'm trying to picture myself with that long of hair, but I can't. Help?

I'm doing the same thing, lil.

There are a couple different tools online that will let you post a picture and then paste different hairstyles on it, but I think it's a waste of time.

The only way to go about it is to let it grow out.

I wouldn't bother asking people how they think you would look, either. Many people strongly disagreed with my decision initially, but now say they like my mane better than my previous hairstyle.

I will say that longer hair definitely takes more care and time than short hair, but you can always chop it off when you get tired of it.

I'm going to donate mine to an organization that makes wigs for cancer patients, eventually. If you make it that far, you can consider the same if you decide to ditch it.

That's a good idea... yeah people always tend to disagree on that subject.

I went from medium length, to short length (now) and now considering long.

I think guys should have long hair when they're young, while they can. It will be inappropriate, and for a lot of guys, impossible, once you get into your 30's, so let it grow, baby!

go for the long hair... wait, summer is coming up again... go for the long hair only if you're willing to deal with it. i personally have shoulder length hair, but it is starting to get in the way because of all the heat that i have to deal with.
