| | | | The Liquor Thread So, big party this weekend. BYOB. Every time I buy alcohol (my mysterious, wonderful ways) I would like to try something new. One of my new years resolutions. I am looking more at hard liquor lately; I love beer, meed, wine, and whatnot, but I don't drink a lot of the hard stuff, and welp, yeah.
So, hard liquor I have tried:
Black Velvet (I like it)
UV Grape (This shit is nasty. I do not like it at all)
Captain Morgan (Original Spiced; it's okay, better mixed, though I think)
Jägermeißter (My Favorite, thus far)
Can't think of what else. During homecoming, I had a few screwdrivers, but those don't count. I think vodka was used, probably UV Blue knowing the girl that mixed them.
Stuff I am curious about:
Absinthe
Apparently, it's legal now where I live. Rumor is, stores don't sell it though. How do you get a hold of it? What kinds have you had? What's your opinion?

My roommate bought a bottle of this once, and he showed it off to me. I s'pose I could have taken a swig, but I didn't. How is it?

Back before my grandfather was diagnosed with diabetes and my mother took his alcohol away, I remember one of his favorite drinks being this vodka in particular.
I am open to recommendations. My favorite is Jägermeißter, if you know anything that's just as good or better, I'd like to know.

I see you only have 1 rum on your list. Rum is the best!! You should always have at least 1 FULL bottle of Bacardi Superior in your liquor supply at all times

| | | Ugh, I can't believe you like Jager, that stuff makes me nauseous just smelling it. Mind you, if you like that, try sambuca. They taste similar, yet different. My favorite is the black kind, but most of the time it's sold in the clear form.
Man, I had some good quality tequila when I was down in Mexico. Normally I can't even smell the stuff, but it went down really smooth.
