| | | Simcity Society? I typically do not play computer games. But my honey bought this game and now I'm dreaming about building my city. I tried it a couple of times lastnight and it's so damn cool. I can't lay a straight road. I watched him play for a bit and found it so fun. Watching all the Sims come to life as you build. I've never even seen a Sims game but this one is cool! Anyone else play this game or the Sims at all?

| | | yes, the sims 2 got me addicted. The goal is to get laid by many virtual girls, father many children, get rich, and build a huge mansion. | |

| | | I used to play simcity, YEARS ago. When it was all pixels. My brother used to find joy in building it all up and then watching it get destroyed by some natural disaster.
I was much kinder to my citizens.
what's simcity society like?

| | | The Society you build starting with 50 grand. You have to build houses and eventually a town. You create EVERYTHING but the people. You have to make your sims happy. Everything costs to build, but you so many freakn choices of homes, streets, the location the weather, disasters, etc. So many choices. I have to have my honey show me to how to place my street right. But as soon as you get some of those things built, the Sims come out and go to work, etc. It's cool. I wanted to buy it for the WII, but it's only one player. I've never seen anything like it. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon. I'd be kind to my people too. I want like a feng shui place on the water with total peace.
Oh, the most important thing is you have to have power to generate your city which of course a ton of ways to choose from, and you get money back from city taxes, etc to build a bigger city. There are 3 different levels you can play on too. Where you HAVE to have certain things in order for you town to operate, or you have free reign and I cant remember the last one.

I played simcity, it sounds the same so I think I would get bored quickly. Recently i've had no more time for games. It's rare to see a girl who is interested in games, how so? | |

| | | didn't the sims come out back in the 80's?? haha j/k.
i didn't care for this type of game because it was too slow for me. i would start something, and then destroy it just for fun. i'm more of a slash up monster's type of person.

I know the Sims have been out for like eternity, but I've never been into computer games, the last time
I played seriously was like in the 80's with the atari!
We've had every game console since and I still don't play. (except PS3)
