| | | the sh*t things that we do ok i know that many of you have been here, but for the past week, i have been stuck pondering over my past actions.
have you ever done something and felt nervous in the process?? you worry that you're doing something wrong, and the moment that you feel as though you are free, you are still worried about the consequences? freak, i have a guilty feeling about an action that i did at work... and after my friday began, i couldn't help but to wonder what would have happened if i had gotten caught. i tried to put it past me and enjoy the weekend, yet this thought had lingered into my mind.
as monday rolled around, i thought, as long as i make it through the week then i should be fine as to no one had noticed what i had done. tuesday came and went and i felt a little relieved because nothing had been mentioned to anyone. now wednesday rolls around and i hear rumors that my actions had been seen, and that there was a witness who gave a general description of me. with so many other asians working at my job, it would be hard to single me out completely, but for example, a guy with a mohawk is pretty hard to misinterpret.
so this is the feeling that i have had for the past half week or so. what's done is done and i can't change the past, yet i kinda do regret it because it's something so minor, and i would never have done it before. i've kinda accepted that fact that i might not return for the next pay period... and yeah, it does suck but it's life right?

i worked as a cocktail server in a fancy hotel kitchen for about 2 months a couple years ago, but since there was really nothing to do during the time between passing out bite-sized spanikopitas and bussing tables i spent most of my time stealing. i don't know if i they ever actually caught on to the missing giant wheel of brie, or whether they needed that linksys router on the third floor, but i sure got fired. they said i didn't "have the drive." ha well it was pretty worth it for the brie. | | The Following User Says Thank You to bohemiandonut For This Useful Post: | | |
