I was going to say Cain also.

He hasn't been around in a while... I hope he's dating some nice gal.

Well, I always said I didn't want kids until I had a house, a degree, and better than financial stability. So in that sense, 30+ is a good time to do it. My sister had both her kids before trying to achieve any of these things, and she struggles. I want to know my family is well taken care of.

| | | 50 isn't OLD, but I surely won't be as able physically as I would in my early to mid-40s so I can play with my kids.
I will have my ASN for sure before I have kids. My gf will have her master's... between us we'll be pulling in $100k/year. That's plenty to start. By the time I'm 30 I'll be pulling in $175k/year. I'm pretty sure the financial aspects aren't going to be issues in a few years.

Well Cain, that's pretty good. It does however, make you the exception and not the rule. Most people really don't have it all together whilst still in their twenties.

| | | I'd say charlieboy and misombra will make good parents when they are ready. Also, Tone and RSK. There are others, I am sure, but they jump immediately to mind.
