and of course the rest of my family. I am so excited!!
This is the longest we've ever been apart and it's getting a little easier to handle. I know he's truly happy up there and that's what matters to me. He's making it on his now. Thank goodness.
I have to tell a quick story because I had to get some sleep lastnight but ended not being able to because...the Home Depot guy comes to consult with us about remodeling the kitchen. He shows up at 8 were done around 9 and he locks the keys in his trunk of the car( no spare keys, no triple AAA), he doesn't have the seats that pull forward to access the trunk. So he rips the back part of the car in the back window sill, he's too big. My hubby literally had half his body in the back of this guy trunk at 9:30 at night, but he retrieved the keys. THEN, the last of the demo stuff gets in the car and that alarm goes off. OMFG for like 10 minutes. We laughed our asses off, the guy didn't he was humilated, but we thought it was funny. It's 7:30 am and I have to leave in about an hour and I'm not ready yet.
I can't wait to share my sons 19th Birthday. I missed his 16th, he was in MI on vacation, and his 18th he was in bootcamp. I can't wait to see my parents and my nephews and my brother! WAHOO!!!
