The reason you'd want to also modify the edit function is because the way these users would get around deleting their posts/threads is by removing what they posted, and replacing it with garbage.
It's kind of a ruined apple in the bushel basket type thing, where it kind of hurts the better posters, but if it's this much of a problem that illusional actually complains about it, something probably needs to be done with it. | |
