I finally went over there to get some things and my dogs (had 3  but the ex would not allow me to get them. As I was getting back into my car to leave, my dog ran from the backyard through the gates and towards my moving car. I stopped to pick him up and away we went. I recall one another case where female lion adapted a deer baby. She did not eat it, but kept it as her baby. Don't know what happened to her later though and what was the future of the baby.
