| | | this is a little late.... but tell me your opinions on the korean POW that was murdered recently a couple of weeks ago. as you know, i was in japan, and it was all over the news. and i came back to hawaii a few days ago, and it's again all over the news.
as i was talking to my friend about what had happened, it seems they had posted his death on the internet for everyone to see. i thought it was a simple beheading where they took once slice to kill the guy. damn was i wrong. i was informed that those bastards had used a serrated knife, and actually sawed his head off. damn that has got to be sick....
but tell me what you think about this entire dilemma. raverboy

| | | Hmmm I read about the inccident, he was pleading i think the korean goverment to withdraw soiders, in order to live. From your post its obvious what the outcome was from the situation. Due to lack of information about the reasoning and the causes of this situation i am unable to form an opinion. All that i can say is is feel angered, not for the beheadding overally but because the son of the bitches used a knife.

| | | That came out awhile ago-and I got up and saw it on the internet not the actual incident itself-but I remember I wanted to cry and said a prayer that morning-that people are that sick today. I felt for him and his family. It makes my skin crawl to think this happens and people celebrate it.
When I think about it now-I get sick to my stomache.

That's how they got Berg. So soon as I seen the Korean abductee on the news I knew he was a goner. There is no way the Korean government would withdraw its entire force over single nameless individual. Now the militants are holding a marine soldier who have gone missing for a couple of weeks, who's fate I'm not quite certain.\
I've imagined myself being in that position. Scary to think about. Sort of like being on death row. I would go crazy thinking I will never see my loved ones ever again. | |

| | | A wiser man man than I once said " Hatred ever kills, love never dies; such is the vast difference between the
two. What is obtained by love is retained for all time. What is obtained by
hatred proves a burden in reality for it increases hatred."
This goes for both sides in the whole situation. What kind of victory is it when someone is left defeated?

| | | this is a different point of view, but it's true. looks at things this way,... given our government went into another country and practically invaded them and took over their government. now we took their leader in power as our prisoner and put him on trial crimes according to our legal system. then we killed both his sons and showed their pictures all over the news, which i believe is probably the biggest mistake. these people are only doing to us, what we did to them. they are killing our captives and showing us their dead bodies because frankly, we did the same thing to them. kinda ironic yeah? raverboy
