I am sure you've all seen my pic - if not go to the gallery and take a look - but i joined a site about 2 weeks ago called "Hot or Not" and then forgot about it. well tonight my friend told me about it and i remembered so i went back and found that my rating from a scale of 1-10 was at a 5.1 -- i was like WTF ?! Am I really THAT ugly ? Or did I just choose a bad pic to represent me ?

So I decided to let my LF partners decide my ugliness.

Am I Hot or Not ? Scale it from 1 (BUTT ASS UGLY) or 10 (TOTALLY HOT).

Oh, and I'd prefer womens responces to this only. I just might get a bit weird if guiys started talling me if I was hot or not.......

Well I'd just like to say that Hot or Not is not that great of a rating site, people usually just slam a number down. Facethejury is one of the most honest ones I've seen.

But who cares, as long as your confident, then no rating site can take you down!

Sites devoted to rating looks on a scale are outcries of insecurities and inflated egos. I always give em all 1's.

haha... do you really think that they'll give you the true considering that you were already rated a 5.1 and your self esteem seems to have gotten hurt? raverboy

well.. these are statistics. they werent just numbers randomly generated by a mathmatical equation on a machine. real people had to see my picture and select a number for my rating. I had 0 7's, 8's, and 9's. like 2 6's, and a bunch of 5's, 4's, 3's, like 2 2's, and 1 1's.... It just doesnt feel good to know I didnt get anything above a 6 by anyone. It doesnt hurt - It takes alot more than that to hurt me.

And it must be true because guess what ? No women have responded to this thread lol ! People will tell the truth when they know that they are anonymous, but when they have to put something on paper with their name on it or say it out loud in front of me, then they dont stay quiet and/or lie just so i dont "get hurt".

I get hurt when people lie to my face and say, "oh, you're not ugly ! what makes you think that ? I'd give you a 9 !" and I obviously know i aint a 9, hell not even a 8. But a 7 would be nice to get seeing that where i think i am. 70% is still a passing grade in my book and thats all I strive for.

But bleh - who cares, right ? Its just a number. I'm being stupid about this whole thing. So **** it along with everyojne else around me. I'll be single forever. And I'll be ungly forever, and eventually I will grow to like my ugliness.

Ok Im gonna post. First female to say something and maybe youre gonna go get more I dont know. But first of all Billy WHY do you feel the need to post your pic to get some people who know ABSALUTELY nothing about you to judge you or rate you? What difference does it make? Just because these people were going through and saying 1 1 1 1 or 3's or whatever, these people are rating you strictly on your looks, I dont know if this is something you really wanted to know just for fun or what-but why subject yourself to people who deliberately rate low.

No one on here is going to rate you. Ok maybe MOST people wont rate you. Yes because you know who we are, but the fact is BECAUSE you did it and are now looking for absalution somehow to feel better I dont know, no one is going to do it. You made yourself look and appear as if someone who is desperate for something in their life.

Maybe you dont NEED for women to tell you how they really feel, but the fact is its only within you that matters. I wont rate you, Im sorry, Im not being mean in anyway, but I find rating people based on their looks is pretty cheesy.

bleh - whats in me does matter, i know this. and yes i did that site thing just for fun. and actually i didnt know people could rate me when i signed up - i was going thru the site rating everyone - and to be able to rate someone it said i had to be a member. so i signed up and thru on a picture just for the hell of it. I never really thought nothing of it until i saw i was a 5.1 - it was totally unexpected. but bleh - i am going to trust Innova and not take in that number as an actual statistic.

I'm on that site too!... but originally it was for the "meet me" section where you can email some people. You have to pay to email, except I just let the guys do it. lol. Now I just check to see my ratings.... i think its at a 6.7 the last time i was there...

I met one of my ex-bf on there... its actually a pretty neat place. If you want a free dating service with absolutly no charges, my favorite is campuskiss ... anyways I should look at the face the jury thingy... sounds interesting..

Well, it really depends on your picture. Besides, a person's attractiveness is not only defined by looks, there's also charm, wit, cute mimics... look at Cameron Diaz - I'd rate her a 5...but everyone thinks she's hot! A lot of people admit that she's not that pretty it's just that she's charming and cute in her own way.

Besides, I'm not that hot either, according to MVP I'm a 7. But who the hell cares anyway, as long as you find a person who loves you for what you are, and overcome your insecurities, life will be a lot simpler and a whole lot pleasurable.

killer does bring a very good point to this. i was also thinking that beauty is both inner and outer. true, you won't satisfy everyone's deepest indulgences, but should that really matter to you?? everyone here knows that i think japanese fob girls are the prettiest, however when we went to japan, they teased us because we have spikey hair and their culture is really different. bottom line, is that you shouldn't care what others think of you. everyone on this site can think i'm a dumb ugly mofo, but it won't stop me. besides, i'd probably give you a 5 just because it's right in the middle. most people don't like getting 5's but they are so easy to give. raverboy

I've discussed this with a few people recently but I really love having a taste that's totally opposite from the norm. Charlie's Angels 2 was on tonight and there was Cameron Diaz. I can't stand to look at her in her underwear though, she's so nasty. Sometimes when I won't date a girl she'll ask why and I'll say "you're skinny." They get so puzzled. They have NO IDEA that can be a bad thing. I'm very turned off by skinny girls. Don't get me wrong, I don't like fat girls either. I can't respect someone who doesn't respect themselves. Skinny and Fat are two things that show lack of self respect. I need a nice thick girl. Someone shy and has a tint of sadness in their eyes. I dunno, a real sweetheart who just shows geniune kindness. That overcomes any physical traits for me. These coppertone 6-pack blondies are a dime a dozen and not worth my time.
