It's been quite mad these few days. I think Christmas and year-end is a very stressful time. However, I am grateful for all the mince pies. Yum. I've been through 3 boxes.

And shorty - congrats on the high marks! Don't sell yourself short either. California CCs are the best in the nation, and the undergraduate work you do there is the same that you would do in a University, assuming you had good instructors.

Vashti----Mince pies? It's a little pie (shortcrust pastry) dusted with icing sugar and filled with sickly sweet fruit (usually raisins and nuts). It's a sweet. Not a savoury as the name might suggest.

The best way to boost sugar levels in the middle of the work day :-D

i just finished opening presents with the family ... then had midnight dinner ...

I've eaten way too much this Christmas. Dinner 2 nights in a row + christmas lunch. I skipped a dinner tonight and ate plain soup at home. Too much of a good thing.

well well well, learning another language is always a good thing. i think that people who are bilingual are able to think with a different aspect of their brain, meaning that languages usually work in different formats.

shorty, wow 4.0, i've never had a 4.0 in my entire life. i did however magage to get on academic probation in college hahaha.

mis... if you rent out my apartment, i'll throw partying there free of charge, just for you.

and for everyone else, maybe it's just me, but i'm sure there are others out there that are also wondering (like lloyd). however, i always wanted to see a picture of chlor just because she's another that keeps this thread running.
