I must say that is true. i never heard of japenese mail order brides. The thing about asian girls also is:

They are either Super HOT or super minging. There isnt really a in between.

well not really... you have to see a lot of asian girls and then you'll probably take back that line. in hawaii, well in the area that i live, asians tend to be the dominant ethnicity. of course, there is a mixture of about 42352343 different asians, but i think that japanese is one of the predominant ones. raverboy

Ske seems to have a split personality - or something... Her name says "Cute Skye" in Japanese, yet she thinks she is ugly ? She takes all these pictures of herself and places them all over the internet, and she thinks she is ugly ? Its an attention thing, i think at least.

I say there is no way she thinks she's plain. There is some pretty close up pictures she's got on her gallery, so it's not being photogenic...she's simply good looking, and I'm sure she knows it...is why she post's all them pics.

And I kind of agree with Bill: She said she's considered "minging" to get us to tell her she's not plain, but cute.

Now..I just thought of something...I, too, have plenty of pictures up on the gallery. But I don't think I'm very good looking. When I joined up I just wanted to go full throttle and open up a bit the way a lot of the regulars here already had pics up, so I selected a bunch with many different looks of Freddie (I like to change looks frequently) and stick em all up at once. So why should my having lots of pics have a perfectly anti-narcissistic explanation, but in the case of Skye it's about vanity?

Well, there is a matter of the poses on some of her pics, whereas I took normal pics, a few I cut out some friends, granted, but I didn't pose for portraits of myself. But still, I'm sure Skye, in her defence, would have explanations just as I provided some for my own posting of pictures.

So why was I so quick and convinced that I knew the reasoning behind her post? I don't know...maybe a hunch..maybe there's evidence in other posts by Skye, but the bottom line is that I still believe, even if in some subconcious level, there's some pride in Skye regarding her own looks..but nobody likes to admit to it.

I'll be really interested to read Skye's own take of this analysis...and in advance, Skye, I apologize for making your psyche a topic for discussion, but in the spirit of the freedom and diversity of this forum, I saw an opportunity to discuss a little psychology and you turned out to be the guinea pig. This wasn't planned...it just happened. Do you mind sitting at the chair so we can pic your brain and you can rebuttal your own thought after we try to guess them??
