I belive that aliens exist, but I think it is unlikely that we are going to find them any time soon.
And stuff like this happens all the time.

I think we should be spending less money on space exploration/travel and more on helping the poor people on Earth. However, that's not very sustainable either because of the rate at which we are using resources, i.e. we need to find an alternative living space soon.

Oh yeah, if aliens really existed with their huge motherships or something, they couldn't really act like in Independence Day (the movie). Something half the mass of the moon parked in geostationary orbit near Earth (like the mothership in Independence Day) would cause tidal waves on Earth sufficient to smash us all underwater. Even if the aliens came in peace, they would leave us in pieces. It would be like "we come in... oops... Earth's gone".

Nobody said that they where more technicaly advanced than us though.
They might be about the same.

I think there's enough about how big a disaster his face is in the media already... lol... all that about collapsing nose and stuff

well the universe is so enormous that it's only a matter of time before we find another lifeform. we can't possibly be the only form of life that exist in the entire universe. raverboy
